The single Tuner, the first one released by Mogwai, was exceptional in that it contained lyrics. The rock band from Glasgow plays mostly instrumental pieces in an art-rock or post-rock tradition. Though their singles and albums have never really reached commercial success, Mogwai have spread their music and reputation across the scene and gained respect of musician and music lovers alike.
